Hello Oh My Darling Fans! October 31, 2011

First things first, there are only two short weeks left until our Sweet Nostalgia CD Release at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnipeg, on Saturday Nov. 5th, at 8 PM. We have a great lineup of guests for the evening, plus some special surprises that will make the evening a night to remember, including the limited release of our very OWN BEER, Sweet Nostalgia Brown, crafted for the occasion by Half Pints Brewery!! Tickets are available at the Winnipeg Folk Festival Store, the West End Cultural Centre, and through Ticketmaster, get yours soon!!

Autumn has been a busy time for the band, with barely a chance to catch our breath and fill you in on all the exciting things that have been going on. We've affectionately nick named this last tour "4 girls, 2 coasts, 2 countries, 2 weeks" and it's been just that! Beginning with our debut US performance in New York City, we had a fantastic show at The Living Room for a very enthusiastic crowd, including the fabulous Norah Jones! Then it was up to OCFF, for a weekend of great showcases, great friends, and jamming every night until sunrise. We got to catch up on some sleep as we flew to Vancouver and then drove down to Eugene, Oregon for Arts Northwest, which was held in a gorgeous theatre, in a beautiful city. We hope we'll get to spend more time around that area playing music and seeing the sights!

Right now Oh My Darling is in the Yukon, for the Breakout West Festival! We'll be doing 2 concerts here, including one that will be recorded by CBC Radio 2, so stay tuned for some new live tracks hitting the airwaves soon!

We are so excited by all the great people we have had a chance to meet in the last while, and are excited about planning our 2012-2013 touring season! Hopefully we'll be playing a show near you, sooner than later!!
