This weekend MJ and Vanessa are headed out to Calgary, Alberta for the Western Canadian Music Awards and BreakOut West. Oh My Darling is honoured to have received a nomination for Best Francophone Album for our Venez Danser EP! The weekend will be full of watching Western Canada's artists shine, sharing summertime stories and performing at the WCMA gala event. MJ and Vanessa will team up with fellow nominee and Manitoban, Folk-Pop Singer-songwriting sensation JP Hoe for a live performance we are all very excited about! Summer time Stories

With golden and ruby toned leaves swirling in the streets and crunching under our feet it is wonderful to welcome in the autumn. The crispness in the air and the lingering warmth of the sun encourage us to breathe deeply and settle in to our cozy homes. With the fall season upon us there is no better time than to reflect on the busy season of summer touring, festival hopping and adventure seeking. We had the great pleasure of returning to Europe this past summer for a 7 week tour of Europe and the UK. We shared the stage with two very lovely and talented ladies, Nashville based fiddler Rachel Baiman and New York based Scottish fiddler Hannah Read. We loved having both ladies join us throughout Germany, Netherlands, Austria, France, Belgium, Scotland and England. Canadian Folk Music Awards and Western Canadian Tour

We are thrilled to be performing at this year's CFMA's Gala event in Calgary this November 10th at the University of Calgary Theatre. It will be great to hear many of Canada's great folk artists performing and connect with the Canadian folk music community over the weekend. This will kick off a tour throughout Western Canada, we will have the wonderful Rachel Baiman joining us- stay tuned with our confirmed dates to be announced soon on our website!
